Recently Found Classmates

We have been fortunate to be befriended by a Custer alum from another year (1972) who does genealogy research. She was instrumental in finding many of the classmates originally for this website and the 50th reunion. Recently she took another pass at the people on our "Missing Classmates" list and has had some remarkable finds, especially when you consider that Custer recordkeeping kept no middle initials. We can't guarentee that these are 100% accurate but it's better than what we've had.

We thank Eileen Kocherhans ever so much for her tireless and much appreciated efforts!

Richard Marschall - Milwaukee - Died Dec 17, 1964 (If you'll recall, Richard was a tall, good-natured kid who always, always had a goofy smile on his face. It was conjectured that Richard may have died in Vietnam but our researcher was able to find an obituary ... not online ... that place his death near Christmas of '64 in Milwaukee. It gives no hint of how Richard may have died. If anybody has specific information about his passing, please let us know.)
